Kidsgrove is a dynamic and well-connected town, strategically located on the border of the Northern Powerhouse and Midlands Engine with easy access to the M6. The £16.9 million Town Deal investment will make the town more welcoming and attractive, promoting footfall, usage and improving services.
The opportunity
Improving the flow and pedestrian connectivity between Kidsgrove’s key assets including the railway station, canal and town centre is a vital objective of the Town Investment Plan, alongside improved and new community facilities. This holistic approach to improving the Kidsgrove experience aims to attract investment to capitalise on its location and heritage and leisure assets including the canal network, to create an attractive, welcoming and successful town in which to live and invest.
